Our Story

T. Ware & Sons has been running for over 40 years. We are a family-run business consisting of two owners, Mark Ware and Lee Ware — supported by a great team of employees that we consider family.

We very much pride ourselves in supporting local businesses and communities across Cornwall. Our longstanding relationships with customers and partners are a testament to the honest, reliable service we provide.

Our Values

Our approach to dealing with others has helped us build long-term business relationships over four decades. We believe in fair pricing, transparent dealing, and taking on the responsibility of making your life easier when it comes to metal recycling.

Our Facilities

Based at United Road, St Day, Redruth, our site includes a fifty-foot weighbridge for larger quantities and precision scales for non-ferrous metals.

We also invest in the latest technology for metal identification — including the Niton XL2 analyser — giving immediate and accurate results.

As a fully licensed DVLA-registered facility for End of Life Vehicles, we can issue certificates of destruction so you don't have to do a thing.

Who We Buy From

We will buy scrap metal from scrap metal merchants, large businesses, tradesmen and members of the general public. Our aim is to take on the responsibility of making your life easier when it comes to metal recycling.

Why Recycle Metal?

Recycling is simple — it reduces the amount of waste going to landfill and allows valuable materials to be reused. Metal is one of the most recyclable materials on the planet, losing none of its properties in the process.

For many years, we have regularly exported our scrap metal to be recycled worldwide as well as distributing nationally.

Collection Available

For larger quantities or bulky items, collection can be arranged. Get in touch and we'll organise the rest.
